Your Solar Advocate is the Better Way to Go Solar because homeowners can buy everything for cost and have it installed by the same seasoned professionals the solar companies use. We provide invoices to verify the actual cost of materials. We are Professional Solar Installation Specialists
Plans, Permitting, and Labor Costs range from $2500 to $4000 depending on the solar system size or if battery backup installation is required. Prices can vary due to varying municipality fees. Fee costs are included in the cost per kilowatt in the chart above, but the additional costs for upgrading to battery backups are not included in the chart above.
Your Solar Advocate only charges the cost for plans, permitting, and fees, we do not markup the costs. Homeowners only pay the actual price it costs. We use outside permitting services that charge a fixed price for their services.
Most solar-only installations cost $2,500 or less. However, we price ours between $2,500 and $4,000 to ensure transparency and avoid any perception of a bait-and-switch tactic.
We provide invoices for solar panels, equipment, and installation components. However, we do not issue separate invoices for plans, permitting, labor, and fees, as these involve a combination of external vendor and internal company costs. Instead, we calculate and charge a fixed price for these combined services which are included in our cost per kilowatt pricing for installation.
Customers can purchase solar equipment from whoever they like, and we will install it. If we order everything at wholesale cost from our suppliers there’s an additional 3% charge of the total invoice to cover our labor costs.
Homeowners receive invoices for any products purchased, and Your Solar Advocate charges a 3% fee to cover our labor costs. We don’t profit from equipment sales; our earnings come from installing home solar systems.
Homeowners can choose any brand of solar panels and inverters they like or use what we recommend based on our expertise. Our recommendations are always going to lean towards you getting the best return on investment possible.
Then there’s the option of partial or whole home solar battery backup. There are many options to choose from, but one thing is for certain, you will only pay 3% above invoice for any solar system equipment you choose.
We provide home solar installation expertise at a fixed cost to you. No games or gimmicks, our project manager specializes in home solar installations exclusively. Christian Figueroa has done over 1000 home solar installations working as an independent contractor serving various home solar companies.
Homeowners receive the same cost as any solar company pays for our installation services. We are wholesale to the public.
Homeowners can save anywhere from 25% to 50% for home solar compared to any other company in the solar industry.
The bottom line is the cost per kilowatt for home solar, regardless of how it’s packaged. We will provide material cost breakdown and a price per kilowatt for any type of solar system you choose.
Many homeowners take advantage of our special by upgrading to battery backup or the highest quality solar panels made because of the savings they are incurring.
